Michael and his family, Kari (Wife) and Michaela (Daughter), moved to the area in the summer of 2016 and are excited to be doing ministry at CCVT. They hope to carry on the legacy of CCVT with the desire to love God, love others and lead people to the Grace of Jesus.

Brandon Botset
After graduating from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, Brandon started working at CCVT as an intern in the fall of 2019, which has led him to stay as a full-time campus minister with CCVT. In 2020, he married his wife Brittany, who is also a CCVT and VT alumni.

Kate Buchanan
After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2022, Kate worked for Department of Social Services and was a teacher in North Carolina. Kate started working at CCVT as an intern in the fall of 2024. In 2023, she married her husband Jack, who is also a CCVT and VT alumni. Kate and Jack are both excited to come alongside students and help them to grow in their walk with God.

Maddie Moore
After graduating from Virginia Tech in May of 2024, Maddie started working for CCVT as an intern in August of 2024. She started attending CCVT during her Junior year of college and quickly found community. Maddie also works part-time for the Virginia Cattlemen’s Association, which has allowed her to pursue her passions of agriculture and ministry.
